Off the record, so far, i guess my last hurrah for this summer would be at Puerto Galera -- just in time for Jeljel's birthday.. =)

Whoa, this summer was really the BEST! i've been traveling a lot, as in! i've been to every damn shoot, but hey, am still standing! i dont know what's got into me coz just the thought of it makes my dad tired. ha ha!

the past two months of my life was a blast! i still remember the time when ferry gave me this project. i was scared at first, but as time went by, i got the heck of it, and before i know it, i was enjoying it.. =)

March 23-24, 2006. Caylabne Bay Resort @ Ternate, Cavite.
Beach bums: Hansen, Jong, Eri, Drew, Jude & Jam
- this was my first baby, my first deal that's worth a second hand car. gawd. of course i was proud and happy but unfortunately, the shoot didnt turn out as planned due to some unavoidable circumstances. daym. sayang, the food was so great, and the accommodation was excellent. Finally, i met Sir Benjie and the new resident manager Sir Van, both are so warm. i give it 5 stars.

March 27-29, 2006. Villa Angela @ Vigan Ilocos Sur; Tabako Festival @ Candon City Ilocos Sur.

- i got the Villa Angela deal in five minutes. yes, i had the owner approve it right there and then during the travel expo. whew. Sir Candy is so nice! about the place, it was comfortable. perfect for the aching backs due to the long hour drive just to get there.

i have been jet-setting like crazy for the past two weeks or so! this is one helluva summer! i've been to 6 destinations in 10 days! talkin' about travellin' huh? read on. =)

i was proud to have gone to at least 3 destinations last summer by land (Subic), water (Puerto Galera) and air (Davao). but much to my surprise, this year was even better! i've been travelling a lot for the past couple of weeks and am getting the heck of it! ha! 6 destinations in 10 days? all for free? not bad! =)

isang malaking HUWAW! shocks. am speechless. kilig-to-the-bones sagad hanggang bone marrow! geez! exag! for the record, this has been my BEST Valentine's day celebration ever! partida i didnt have 'someone extra-special' to exclusively spend it with.. but in fact, no need for exclusivity when you can have it with the public! honestly, wala pang nakakagawa sakin nito. everything seemed PERFECT. everything has fallen into place. why? who wouldnt want a cancelled regular meeting? (thank God!), a lush dinner at Cafe Britton with my closest friends? hanging out, sitting pretty in a spot closest to the stage, at my ultimate crush's gig as per his invite? having 'my guy' call out my name to greet me a happy birthday as well as dedicate his first song to me? walk his way down the stage to take my hand, give me his first rose, hold my hand forever until he finish singing? all the more, grasping my palm tighter as he gently insert his shaky fingers across mine, taking it aback secretly, as if no one would see? (but nix saw it! nix saw it!), feeling him shiver as he reaches to my shoulder down to make a passionate yet careful akbay? HE DID IT NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE! OR THRICE! OR MANY MANY TIMES! haha! hell yeah! he had taken me upfront for the second time! daym! the upbeat set. ooooh-da-moooves! i almost died! heck. he's dancing right infront of me! gawd! and his sparkling eyes are starin' at me for eternity! gawd! good thing i didnt melt! we were lookin' eye-to-eye! ooooh.. mercy. haha oh man! all done upfront, seen by a number of people! as per lye & jel, 'NAGMUKHA AKONG GIRLFRIEND!' haha! how i wish! hehe daym! now tell me don't you just LOVE IT?! coz I LOVED IT! BIGTIME!!! wahooo! =) *yuuuuuuck!*

i just cant let this kilig-mous, momentuous event pass! needless to say, am soooo happy and grateful for my friends (jel, zeens, lye, elaine & nix) and to people who also made things possible! i sooo love you guys! thanks to sir Tim for cooperating.. he was one of the accomplices of this surprise.. =) i appreciate it oh so much!

but beefore-beefore anything else, here are some tips to spend your 'single' Valentine's day the next time:
- make yourself available on V-day. party. dont stay home.
- make friends with people who can make things happen.. harhar =)
*i just got lucky coz i had friends who can really make things happen! haha! =) *
- spend it with your equally delicious single friends.
- fix yourself, dress up and feel beautiful! you'd never know when "Someone's gonna take you upfront!" =)

things you should AVOID:
- LOW BATTERY cell phone! you might just miss important documentaries: like pix or videos for remembrance! daym! whatta freak! i should have caught it on video! huhuhu...
- BEING LATE. the reserved table might just be given to someone else. *wink*
- in line with number two, avoid sitting afar! having a seat infront is a great op! harhar! =)
- get ready for some moves in case you'd be drawn on spotlight!
- looking like your soooo *kilig*.
- standing still while in fact, you should be grindin' in chorus! *nyarkz*
- looking away or titig-kung-titig! whaapphaack! haha!

i really made an effort to do this instead of starting my assignment! haha! i guess now i should start. it's 6am and i have a 10am deadline! wehehe! till my next V-day! sana... sana siya ulit.. or rather, sana SIYA na. haha! =)

it's ONE HECK OF A NIGHT for me. i finally got hold of one ultimate dream -- to be able to watch the Backstreet Boys Live in Concert! woohoo! LOVE IT!!! =)

i've been looking forward for this concert since time immemorial -- let's say, 10 years?? 10 long years! haha! yes friends. i have been a BSB fan since the release of We Got It Goin', more so with Anywhere For You and I'll Never Break Your Heart yadayada debuts. gawd. i missed the boys, the songs, and the DAYS. oooh, did i say, i missed the DAYS? ahem.

i was in nostalgia. i vividly remember the events and the moments...

It's EsQuinita's Grand Opening. Celebs like Anne, Luis M, Luis A,Archie, Vhong, Angelica P, PBB's Chx, JB and Say, Sweet, Candy P, Angel & Oyo, Bing L, Mylene and Paolo P, Maja, Cholo Baretto (who gained a li'l..hehe missed him though) etc., people from ABS, and some attention-grabbing-socialites filled the place.. different bands like Brownman Revival, Parokya (?) and some lousy and unknown band jammed. so sad we weren't able to catch Itchyworms.. *tsk* it was kinda boring for someone who neither-drink-nor-smoke-nor-party-hard (just like me) ugh, *loser* (am not quite sure of the neither-nor+another nor..hwehwe) oh well, am just there for the company, to observe and, ahem, be one of 'em.. (without the vices! haha!)

the event was like an acquaintance party for me.. haha! well, i just had a moment with John Prats. i was introduced by our headwriter, he (john) aimed for a shakehands. so, there you go, we had a CONTACT. harhar. hmmm, how soft can his hands get??!! gawd. nahiya na lang ako sa kamay ko... *yucky*

then the CL5 came. oh well, as usual, my Star Balladeer brother, Mr. Soul, the Versatile Vocalist and the Fantastic Force gave me a SMUG (my term for smack and hug..;p) and again, the Prince of R&B didn't take notice of me, walkin' past with his non-showbiz girlette #1. again, girlette #1. hehe. ugh. the h*ll i care. he never missed --missin' me, though. wahaha.

after a while, we decided to leave. chiefy, err--bossy, and i went to Sola's to meet mr bean and Jason of PBB together with his wife. *woohoo! 2 artista acquaintances in two hours! hwekhwek.* we had a some-sorta-meeting, as expected, Jason never failed to amaze me with his funny antics and uh, sweetness? bentang-benta.. ;p

la lang, maipagpag lang.. hehe =)

tHe WeeK ThAt wAs...

a week's time really flies so fast. first week of the year gone past, and here we are, movin' on to the second. whew. now am countin' off to 50 more. heck.

MONDAY: Jan 2, 2006

i feel lazy. i chose to go home yesterday instead of rewarding myself with a movie and forsaking the much awaited family bonding just because of WORK . i guess, an unlikely situation really calls for immediate decisions, which of course could make or break you.. *sigh*

i left home bee-fore bee-fore 4., so i arrived the vicinity around a quarter bee-fore bee-fore 5. (guys who dont know about the 'bee-fore bee-fore' backstory would find this annoying.. hehe) much to my surprise, only a few were present. only X, Tin and Achie mae (who was very sexy in her white top-low cut jeans-white wedge-with-pink butterfly bag ensemble) were the people from CDG. which brings them to notice something different in me... you got it, I LOST WEIGHT daw! =) woohoo! now back to the aquarium, being the latecomer, of course i was the apple-of-the-eye for a moment. guess what? our headwriter just told me --- give it up for another WEIGHT LOSS COMMENT! hayaaaah! =)

AWFULLY GREAT. Only Archie and Hearty would make it for Monday ep since Vhong said he was 'sick'. the show run pretty well even with out him. (in fairness to hearty, despite her blunders, she was HOT with her LV bag. wooosh.) after the Monday live ep, and while waiting for Ms, Chin Chin to arrive, chief and i even had dinner @ Brother's Burger. oh well but of course, she AFFIRMED THE COMMENTS babeh! yeahbaah! =) hehe we were goin' smooth not until we were up for the second set, taping for Wed, HEARTY just had an asthma attack! shit. now we'd have to look for another sub-anchor. OH GREAT. who the hell can we pull in such crunch time? mini-mini-miny-mo (is that right?) then finally, roxanne guinoo was called. gawd, i feel my senses calling the News Diva to get me outta here.... *nodding left-right*

incidentally, i saw colleagues from CDG, abet and zeena, who both just came from an LBS meeting.. low and behold, abet wasnt able to recognize me! haha! just so he gave out a smile to a person he wasnt sure who was -- wanna know why? boomshackalak -- ang PAYAT KO DAW! haaay,, hearing that from a person who constantly comments and monitors each CDG member of the family's early signs of OBESITY. har har =) feels great. really great. paano kasi siya yung unang taong nagsabi sakin na tumaba ako after the wedding, ng may konting-konting pagaalinlangan lang..hehe but then, kita mo sa fez niya na nagugulumihanan. shits.

funny. the first week of the year gave me a, uh, a 'bad impression'? for five consecutive days straight, i've been doing sh*ts at home by which brings me to the office like -- 4pm? GREAT. if you think i've been just being lazy, think again.

things to consider when working at home:

electricity bill
P15.00 x 3 + P18.00 = P63.00/day (newspaper cost)
telephone bill
cellphone bill
worse, binondo afternoon traffic!! think about the GAS!
tired arms and feet
lack of parking space

see? there are consequences. but it doesnt mean i dont have my share of uh, advantage...but it doesn't make it equally advantageous. in fact, it's a lot harder since i mix up work and personal agendas...

a 4-hour sleep instead of 2. (guess this is the primary advantage)
a time to decide what-to-wear and run around. (secondary)
afternoon pasalubong by a family friend (which i bring to work as my 'baon')
less food expense (though i seldom eat)
take care of my sick ahma (who had been very sick for almost a week now.. she cant walk either.. =c) in short, --- PRIVATE NURSE. tsk
take-charge of the household chores, in short, ---HOUSEMAID.
drive my dad for his 'DELIVERABLES', oh i mean, deliveries. in short --- DRIVER.
serve my family... in short, --- YAYA.

now... aside from sleep and food, what does being 'late' give me? dont it just give me added workload? and besides, i do my thang at home naman... haaay.. it's just that i feel guilty for not being physically present in the office. i get to 'avoid' or rather 'escape' from errands i don't really find hard to do, but of course, since am not around, the errands are passed to the ones around.. hwekhwekhwek *sorry* i try to make bawi naman kahit am at home and at the same time, i do make an effort to make habol whatever is needed.. *yuck and barok lang ng entry na to.. harhar"

so, i would like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge the 'people' who have been covering up for me for... always. i really really appreciate it so so so much. indeed, am grateful. at sana wag kayong magsawa sa pag-unawa. =)

it's again 2 in the morning, and here i am in front of the computer, spendin' the time i should use for sleepin'... but i just cant let myself sleep with out having thE 4-hour digestion process. tomorrow, i might be late again, same old thing all over. no wonder it is 2006. tsk.

gawd, off-the-record, i really feel sorry whenever i let my chief down, or in any case i wasnt beside her when she usually receiveS all the b*llshits of our so-called 'show'. i just hope she knows how much i am trying to make up for the lost times... *eew, parang bumabawi sa, (excuse me for the term) 'jowa'.. yucky lang...harhar*

this entry is entitled, "I'm Full", bee-coz bee-coz, i'm really FULL not-of-myself-of-course, but because i just got home from a dinner-date at Burgoo with my colleagues. one more thing, it was a nice experience, and as always, having dinner in a posh resto with nice ambience, attentive and pleasant customer reps, fast-served luscious & enticing food (truly irresistable!), but not to mention the jaw-dropping bill, everything's A-Ok. to top it all off, a good conversation full of emotion, aspiration, and err, empathy, would just complete your night -- or better yet, my night. *sigh*

the P1, 000, 000 question of the night would be:

"How can you miss something you have not experienced?" --- Mr. Burgoo

in truth and in fact, this line says it all, no wonder it just HIT me. this goes out for all the people who rant about a past relationship, a broken relationship, or just about anything by which ironically speaking leads to the people who havent actually experienced one. it's overwhelming to have people around whom you can best relate to, especially when this person was the least person you'd think you can possibly care to have a chat or two. (does a 'chat or two' make any sense? heck.) anyhoo, both are from my 'second' family.

As for the guy, i've heard so much about him, blahs and yadayadas... well, i dont take it against them, besides, i don't find the allegations unbelievable nor somewhat impossible. *sorry. he can be just dead guilty.* but in all fairness to him, behind that 'strong, feeling and hunky attitude' lies a pure and soft heart who is not afraid to cry and accept his 'unlikely image' others perceive of him. *naku tama na kasi baka lumaki ang ulo at hindi na maging mabait sakin..hehe* as much as i can see, he's just what he is -- so, take it or leave it. leave it or believe it. believe it or just get lost. poof! what am i saying? let's say it's a compliment-for-a-complement and vice-versa.

As for the girl, am beginning to get hold of my (literal) mirror image. but mind you, from being the sweetest, to semi-sweet, down to sweet and to mataray?! HAHAHA=) i just so looove her. HOPE SHE NEVER CHANGE. with her, i can be very transparent. i salute her for doing a job well done, AWARD!!! hekhek...

I miss my CDG family... i love the peeps oh so-so muuuch!

2005 -- the year that was. whew. this year was one helluva ride! the first quarter put me on a high, -- high 'pressure' paved the way for such 'high praises', 'high honors', 'high achievements' which were of course, accompanied by 'ultra-high expectations'. rurok talaga. pedestal. but somehow, i was able to put up with what was expected -- fortunately, i made it. yeah, i made it through.. now the question is, does 'it' still matter?? i don't think so. na-ah. boo. gone. who cares? am just some struggling individual like everyone else. tsk.

the latter part of the year, was, uh, a ride from the 'hell' and back. AS IN. i've encountered a lot of problems which were soooo damn complicated and it all concern my family. issues between friends or even lovers (for that matter), were way more bearable -- but when members of the family get in the way, oh man! poof. it's harder to breathe. one wrong move and you're dead. poof. left adazed. frozen. helpless. restless. and miserable.

"a heart filled with so much grief and hurt and a soul full of angst are both hard to cure, to mend, or even so, forgive and let go.." --- now the P1,000,000 question would be, is the 'sweet-heart' ready?

This is my first entry.

It's been a long time since my last journal post. It feels good to write once again, but the sad thing though, am about to write my shattered heart out --- in pain.

The year started out right for me. First, i got involved in a highly acclaimed play (sweeping almost half of the awards, mind you); Second, who would have thought i would graduate with the highest honors of the batch? (that's a shocker, isn't it? you bet!); Third, who would have thought i'd be able to get hold of an ultimate dream of working in ABS-CBN in a week's time? (that fast and easy!) and lastly, who would have thought i would have enough courage to leave all my dreams behind? (this soon?)

Yes. I have voluntarily evicted myself out of the CDG home -- not because I was personally evicted by big brother nor voted out by my officemates for that matter -- I just simply had to GO & LET GO. It may sound cheesy, but in all honesty, oh man! it's NOT that EASY! =c

I've been with CDG for almost 8 months, and in fact, I don't consider it as work, maybe because I really enjoyed every single second spent I set foot ABS-CBN. I really don't feel like working at all, pero hindi biro ang trabaho namin. I love my work regardless of the sweldo, regardless of the perks and benefits, regardless of the long hours of work, regardless of the short hours of sleep, regardless of working on non-working holidays, regardless of the pimples, regardless of the stress, regardless of the huge eyebags, regardless of the freezing cold air-condition, regardless of the snob at 'feeling' na guards, regardless of the moo-moos, and regardless of the so on list anyone would REGARD --LESS. Wonder why? Kasi naman, CDG is composed of wonderful people na talaga namang ang hirap iwan.. Sa totoo lang, kung pera pera lang ang usapan, you won't see any reason why these people stick together.. But NO, people stay dahil MASAYA. People stay kasi hindi maiwan ang isa't-isa. It makes the long hours of work worthwhile, at kahit gaano ka-ngarag, people find time to bond and have a good time kahit pa crunch time! haaaay...

This can destroy me but am prepared. haha! :) ---> You can call me cheap at jologs, but ARTISTAs really drive me crazy! kahit gaano ako kapagod -- "isang picture lang sa artista, isang ngiti lang from the stars, isang beso lang sa mga starlets, makanood lang ng isang taping, makarining lang ng bagong chismis, ok nako.. tanggal lahat ng pagod at nakangiti na ulit ako..." ganun ka-intense. *yuuuuuuck* :)

Seriously, it's really hard to explain but the fact I am working at ABS-CBN, is already a huge fulfillment for me. Bata pa lang ako, I've already dreamt of working in one of the biggest networks. Kung hindi ABS o GMA ako magtatrabaho, then i don't see myself working anywhere. (i have my high school friends, and colleagues to attest that.) Pangarap ko talaga ito. Kaya naman sobrang saya ko nang makapasok ako sa ABS -- ng walang backer o koneksyon, lalo naman ang mag-survive tuwing may termination. Hindi ganoon kadaling makapasok ng ABSCBN, at hindi rin biro ang tumagal sa ganitong klaseng trabaho... There are so many excellent hopefuls out there who dreams of getting in, but fail. Yet there are some who luckily had the chance, but eventually failed. Kaya nga sobrang bigat na desisyon ang ginawa ko. Buhay at pangarap ko ang nakataya dito... Ang masakit pa, kailangan kong iwan ang trabaho at mga taong mahal na mahal na mahal ko...
